A TIME FOR EVERY THING

Man often lives without realising,
We are but creatures of time.
Summer does not last forever,
But, man fails to prepare wood
and fire for winter to come.
A husband may die, a government may collapse,
Yet man likes to depend on another man.

Man is often disoriented and sad.
All his happiness came from another man
And all his satisfaction came from external accomplishments
When that other man is gone
And there is continual failure,
Man feels like life has no purpose

If only man could realise that
Love may cease and success may vanish,
That every thing on earth is subject to time,
He would have but one source of satisfaction: His God,
The Only trustworthy and loyally eternal companion

When no man is the source of your happiness,
When no circumstance is the origin of your strength,
When your hope is only in the Lord,
When you understand that every thing will pass away,
When you realise that love, pain, wealth, friendship, family, sufferings, successes
will all vanish one day or another,
When you accept to let no man steal away your peace,
Only then will you be free to live life like a flying eagle
